1. Selection of steel wire rope
(1) Corresponding professional steel wire ropes shall be selected for elevator and aviation steel wire ropes.
(2) The steel wire rope for tower crane of high lift buildings shall be the corresponding special steel wire rope.
(3) Steel wire ropes for cranes, pile drivers, drilling rigs, electric shovels, excavators and other machinery with low lift are required to have good wear resistance, fatigue resistance and impact resistance. Structural steel wire ropes such as 6*29fi or 6*36sw can be selected.
(4) Metal rope core steel wire rope can be selected for operation in high temperature environment or equipment requiring large breaking load.
2. Installation of steel wire rope
(1) Uncoiling
When uncoiling, put the rope reel on a special support, or use a steel pipe to thread into the rope reel hole, put ropes on both ends to lift, and slowly rotate the rope reel.
(2) Arrangement of steel wire rope on drum
The winding direction of the steel wire rope on the drum must be based on the twisting direction of the steel wire rope. The right twisting rope is arranged from left to right, and the left twisting rope is arranged from right to left. The winding shall be arranged neatly to avoid deviation or pinch winding.
(3) Shearing
For the cutting of steel wire rope, the distance between the two edges at the cutting position shall be 10-20mm. The binding length shall be 1-4 times of the rope diameter, and then cut off with cutting tools.
