The use of carabiner

Carabiner, is a special type of carabiner with a metal loop with a spring-loaded door used to quickly and reversibly attach parts, especially in safety-critical systems.
Wire Rope Lanyards

Carabiner is widely used in rope-intensive activities such as mountaineering, arboriculture, caving, sailing, hot air ballooning, rope rescue, construction, industrial rope work, window cleaning, whitewater rescue and acrobatics. They are mainly made of steel and aluminum.
Rope Hardware Accessories

Those used in sports tend to be lighter in weight than those used in commercial applications and rope rescues. Carabiner keyrings and other similarly styled and designed lightweight clips commonly referred to as carabiner styles or mini lockers are also popular. Due to the general lack of load testing and safety standards in the manufacturing process, most products have “No Climbing” or similar warning signs printed on them. While etymologically any metal fixture attached to a spring gate is technically a carabiner, rock climbing as strictly used in the climbing community refers exclusively to those manufactured for safety-critical systems such as rock climbing and mountain climbing and tested load-bearing equipment.
