The Office of the Leading Group for the Prevention and Control of the New Coronary Pneumonia Epidemic in Shanghai issued a notice on the evening of the 27th to carry out a new round of dicing and grid nucleic acid screening across the city.

The facilities and operations of logistics companies in Pudong, Punan and adjacent areas where the closure and control were implemented first have been announced to stop operations.

As a public service enterprise, SIPG has issued a notice to customers, stating that all production units in Hong Kong will maintain 24-hour operations. At present, the Shanghai port terminal is operating normally, and the collection card is on the road with the task book and 48-hour nucleic acid.

According to analysis by industry insiders, after the implementation of the closure and control, there is not much impact on the operation of the Shanghai port terminal, but the operation of the collection card will be affected. Although the blockade does not close the port, the efficiency of port operations and terminal operations will be affected. It is not easy for port workers and truck drivers to enter and leave the port due to the epidemic. This will lead to delays in the timeliness, and it is expected that the freight will also increase.
